The 2018 Siena International Photo Awards received 48,000 submissions from 156 countries, so the judges have had a tough time determining the winners. Nonetheless, the winners have been selected, and exactly like in 2017 and 2016, their photos show how diverse our beautiful world is.
Every year, the competition includes a particular category. This time, it was named Splash of Colors, searching for excellent color compositions. In total, the entrants competed in eleven categories, varying from amazing landscapes and subtle portraits and to captivating sports moments. The winner of the grand prize, the Photo of the Year award, was Bangladeshi photographer K M Asad for his photo Battle Victim.
